Confidential information should always be encrypted. This
feature only provides encryption.

Part of the encryption process is authentication. This is
where you are verified by a Certificate Authority (CA), and the
CA's signature becomes part of your certificate. It will make the
secure order processing appear more professional. There will be
additional costs from the CA.
Merchant account (if needed)
An Internet Merchant Account can be acquired for the processing
of credit cards. If you already have a point-of-sale merchant account,
you may be able to use it. There will be additional costs from the
card processing service. PayPal is normally cheaper and works
the same way on your web site.
