Home Directory: The directory assigned to a UNIX system user at logon. It is the directory the user starts out in at logon.
Host (A) record: An IP address for forward mapping (host-name-to-IP-address). The opposite is reverse mapping, using a Pointer (PTR) record.
Host name: The name assigned to the computer.
