Restoring archived files

You can restore an entire archive file or only selected files by uploading the file from the archive directory.

Restoring an entire archive file

To restore an entire archive file:

  1. In the User Administrator window, click Backup/Restore from the index in the left column.

    2. The Backup Manager window opens.

  2. In the Backup Manager window, click Restore .

    3. The Restore Files form opens.

  3. In the Select backup file field, enter the file name you want to restore, or click Browse to search for the file on your local system.
  4. Click Restore .

    5. A confirmation message opens.

  5. Click OK to restore your files.
Restoring specific files

To restore specific files within an archive:

  1. In the User Administrator window, click Backup/Restore from the index in the left column.

    2. The Backup Manager window opens.

  2. In the Backup Manager window, click Restore .

    3. The Restore Files form opens.

  3. In the Select backup file field, enter the file name you want to restore, or click Browse to search for the file on your local system.
  4. Click Selective Restore .

    5. The Selective Restore window opens and displays all the files and directories archived in the backup file.

  5. Click the check boxes of the files you want to restore.
  6. Click Restore Selected Files .

    7. A Progress window opens and displays errors that occurred during the restoration.
