Renaming a directory or file

You can rename only those directories you own. You cannot rename any directory or file in the directory / (root).

To rename a directory or file:

1. In the directory listing of the File Manager, do one of the following:
• To rename a directory, click of the directory you want to rename.
• To rename a file, drill down to the file you want to rename and click beside it.
2. In the Commands section of the Directory window, enter a new name for the directory or file.
3. Click Rename .
